It looks like Sean “Diddy” Combs isn’t as sure of himself as he was during previous elections. The hip-hop impresario declared he was going to get George Bush’s “ass out of office” before shouting “Vote Or Die” in 2004. Four years later, in 2008, Diddy switched up the abandoned slogan to “Obama Or Die” in support of then Chicago senator Barack Obama and his bid for presidency. He remained loyal in 2012 and tweeted his joy when POTUS was re-elected for a second term. And now that we’re a month away from the elections, Diddy still hasn’t endorsed a candidate, not even his dear friend Donald Trump.
The New York Post got a hold of Diddy recently and while complimenting Trump’s duds, the Bad Boy founder said it’s still up in the air whether he’s voting for his stylish friend. “I always liked Donald’s style,” said Diddy. “I do have a tie he gifted me. I wear it. As far as voting for him, that has yet to be seen.”
Diddy may not be entirely sold on Hillary Clinton either. Last month, the 46-year-old mogul said Clinton wasn’t doing enough connecting with the black community and accused her of not addressing important issues. “I hope she starts to talk directly to the black community. It really makes me feel, you know, almost hurt that our issues are not addressed and we’re such a big part of the voting bloc,” said Diddy on MSNBC’s Politics Nation with Al Sharpton. He was also critical of President Obama, adding, “You put somebody in office, you get in return the things that you care about for your communities. I think we got a little bit shortchanged.” But maintained he wasn’t turning on POTUS. “He’s done an excellent job, you know, but I think it’s time to turn up the heat.”
