This year’s FYF Fest is set to take place this weekend in Los Angeles’ Memorial Sports Arena & Exposition Park. Saturday night’s headliner for the festival was supposed to be Frank Ocean, and it was supposed to be his only appearance of 2015, but now it appears he’s dropped out of the show altogether. FYF released a tweet Thursday afternoon saying that Ocean would no longer be performing at this year’s festival.
Unfortunately Frank Ocean has canceled his appearance at FYF Fest. Please visit http://t.co/nDeoLVGhFx for details.

The festival’s website then went on to say that “Frank Ocean has decided on his own terms to cancel his appearance; due to this change, Kanye West will now headline Saturday night’s Main Stage.” That’s right, the festival replaced Ocean with Kanye West. Nothing against Frank Ocean, but it seems like FYF may have come out on top with Ocean dropping off the bill. Rough year for Frank, first his new album, which he claimed would have a July release, never came out and now he’s dropping out of festivals.
This year’s festival still includes a great lineup with Morrissey, Bloc Party, D’Angelo, the Jesus & Mary Chain, Run The Jewels and so many more.
