Justin Bieber is taking over a whole week of Ellen to celebrate his new album Purpose, which drops on Friday. He came out strong on the first day of Biebz Week, talking about his nude photos and his feelings for ex, Selena Gomez, before busting out a pretty great acoustic version of his song “Sorry.”
On those nude photos, Bieber was decidedly less enthusiastic than his father. But he did admit that the circus surrounding the photos “wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be.”

The topic turned to Selena Gomez, with Ellen asking how many of Purpose‘s cuts were inspired by the singer. He said that “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean?” and “Mark My Words” could function as breakup songs. He added that he’s not entirely ruled out reuniting with Gomez.
“We have a lot of history together, so it could possibly happen. I think we’re both just on our own journeys, figuring ourselves out, and once we’ve figured ourselves out, we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo.”
Bieber concluded that he just wants Selena to be happy, no matter what happens between the two of them. Then, he played an excellent version of “Sorry” that went a little better than his last acoustic performance.
