Fans of Justin Bieber seem to be getting younger and younger these days. From footage I’ve seen of Bieber’s concerts, his very presence can bring some fans to tears. Well, in this strange instance, his music seems to have the opposite effect on this young Belieber. The only way to get six-month-old Layla Potter to stop crying is to play Justin’s song “Love Yourself,” and as you can see from the video, it works every time.
Layla’s mother, Brittany, discovered the crying cure when her 8-year-old daughter played Justin’s song and realized that the young tot had stopped crying. She then noticed that while stuck in traffic a fussy Layla again stopped her crying when the song came on the radio. To prove that it actually works, Brittany posted a video of Layla being soothed by the sweet sounds of The Biebs to her Facebook page and the video gained thousands of views in just a few days.
“Anytime she starts getting fussy I play ‘Love Yourself’ and she instantly calms down. She has done this since she was a month old.” She goes on to tell The Daily Mail, “Basically, his song is on repeat, which I’m okay with as long as it continues to work.” Anything that gives a young parent a break from a screaming child is a blessing, so all praises to Justin Bieber for this one. Maybe now they can start playing “Love Yourself” on airplanes before takeoff.
