It’s all drunken fun and games for Kanye West until someone tries to Kanye Kanye. Ironically, the music great was in the middle of performing “Power” at the Atlanta stop of his Saint Pablo Tour when a fired-up stan tried to climb aboard Yeezy’s much-talked about floating stage. Propelled by his fellow Kanye fanatics, the man nearly made it to the top before Yeezus waved his holy hand and down the fan went. No one man should have all that power, but apparently Kanye does.
Concertgoer Chase Brown said the fan climbing and then falling wasn’t really a big of a deal as it seemed in the capture video posted online, telling NBC News, “Everyone just kind of turned and looked at each other like, ‘Did that really just happen?'” The 19-year-old said the crowd “continued and not much was said about it,” before applauding Kanye for giving fans one hell of a night that won’t soon be forgotten. “The overall show was great, Kanye put on a great show,” he concluded.
A floating stage will probably go down as one of Kanye West’s best concert ideas. A man who calls himself a god, literally floating above his loyal followers while he preaches the gospel that his music? I-con-ic.
