Looks like Kanye West and Nas have more in the works together than just appearing in French Montana’s recently released “Figure It Out” video. The former will actually be contributing music to the latter’s upcoming film The Land, which will also feature music from Erykah Badu (who also stars in the movie), Pusha T, Jeremih and French Montana (among many others). Aside from serving as the film’s executive producer, Nas is also producing the soundtrack, which will be released on July 29 through Mass Appeal Records.
Directed by Steven Caple Jr., The Land tells the story of four Cleveland teenagers who want to become professional skateboarders, but become caught in a drug operation. Aside from Badu, the film will feature fellow artist and Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly.
Look out for The Land‘s release in theaters and video-on-demand, which is also on July 29.
