You may be familiar with singer-songwriter Ryn Weaver, who last year we described as one of pop’s next big things. If you’re not familiar, get ready to know her as the latest pop star to become embroiled in a feud with Katy Perry, who as we all know is no stranger to pop beefs. (Note to self: Invent some kind of meat-filled toaster pastry.)
It all started with this fairly innocuous tweet from Katy Perry last week, endorsing Hillary Clinton for president and promoting a concert benefiting the candidate:

Weaver took umbrage with Perry’s post, however, firing back the following string of now-deleted tweets Wednesday, linking to a YouTube video that ostensibly features Clinton “lying for 13 minutes-straight“:

It’s unclear where and when the incident took place, but VH1 points out that it may have been at 2015’s Coachella festival. Whether or not it really went down like this is anyone’s best guess, and Perry herself has yet to comment. As these things usually go, the truth probably lies buried somewhere in the middle.
