Kim Kardashian, the recipient of all the furs and sofas that Kanye can buy, has finally spoken out regarding all the stories that have been going around about her husband. Is he having a breakdown? Is he really in debt? Will he be accepting that coveted position at Pizza Hut when all this blows over? Turns out the answer is no. Kanye’s doing fine, he thinks his tweeting is hilarious (that’s a relief for all of us that were legit worried for a second) and that no one really knows what’s going on with the family’s financial status. Anyone thinking otherwise, according to Kardashian, is wrong, wrong, wrong.
E! Online reports that an insider–probably Kourtney, right?–has reached out and explains that while some people may think Kim’s not down with Kanye’s tweeting, Kim’s actually A-OK with it. I like to imagine the entire family pleading with Kanye as he screams “I gotta be me,” tears his phone out of Khloe’s hands (where it’s been put for safe-keeping), and opens the Twitter app while Kris Jenner sobs silently, but apparently that’s not the case.
“Kim isn’t mad at Kanye. She thinks all the stories about his money problems are so funny because it’s all kind of inaccurate,” the insider shared. “Kanye laughs and thinks it’s funny when he tweets and doesn’t care what people say.”
The insider, who seems to know much more about Kanye’s financials than the rest of the world, points out that the $53 million isn’t “debt” per se, it’s more of an “investment,” although, judging by his tweets, it might not have been a good one.
The best thing to come out of this story, of course, besides knowing that Kanye can afford all the furs he wants, is this video of North West yelling at the world while literally drowning in furs. I think we can all agree that North is living her best life.
