Lady Gaga possibly has one of the most impressive resumes in all of show business today. In her career, she’s won multiple Grammys and MTV Video Music Awards, been nominated for Emmys for her concert specials, was Billboard‘s Woman of the Year, and was once named one of the world’s most influential people by Time magazine. On Thursday, Gaga added another impressive line to her list: a Golden Globe nomination for her role on the TV show, American Horror Story: Hotel. Considering her character on the show, her reaction to being nominated was terrifyingly appropriate.
I apologize to my neighbors I'm still screaming in my apt in NY! I'm nominated as an actress for a Golden Globe what a dream is this real!

According to the tweet, Lady Gaga screamed so loud that she might have woken her neighbors up, which, considering the nature of the show, seems about right. The surreal and creepy anthology series has been very popular with viewers this season, and Gaga shines in her role. To her fans, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the extremely talented “Mother Monster” is a star on a Golden Globe-nominated TV show or that the show features a character with a drillbit dildo.
Lady Gaga is close to joining rarefied air in the entertainment industry. As far as nominations go, she’s already halfway to an EGOT, and she’s still under 30.
