We’ve been glowing in our praise for the fine folks at Blank on Blank in the past, and now they’ve gone and done it again with this Jerry Garcia interview from 1988, in which the Grateful Dead’s deceased frontman talks about the band’s love for developing new music while tripping on acid.
“We just set up the equipment. Everybody got high. And stuff would happen,” says Garcia in the interview with Joe Smith. “We mostly wanted to have fun. And when we fell in with the acid tests we a started having the most fun we’d ever had ever. More than than we could have ever….. I mean it was just incredible.”
Enjoy.
