Let’s all have a good old fashioned hyperventilate-y freakout over the Spice Girls, shall we? Instagram evidence of a mini Spice reunion is making our brain vibrate at the prospect of another proper get-together.
Geri Halliwell (Ginger), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Mel B (Scary) all co-star in this cheery snap. Was it taken after all three played with props from the “Viva Forever” video? That’s what we choose to believe happened.
These sorts of photos play into the rumors that another full-on Spice Girls reunion tour could be on its way. Mel B noted in a chat with Billboard last month that the group is considering such a jaunt.
“Potentially, yeah. Once we sort everything out we make an announcement, but right now we’re just figuring it all out. Next year is your 20 anniversary so we’re really just trying to make sure something happens.”
Chatter of a potential Spice Girls reunion also comes with the bonus whispers that Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh) will not be participating. The Sun, who have been making a fair bit of noise about the Return of Spice, claim that Victoria is passing because she’s too busy. We suppose Posh can probably survive passing on such a lucrative offer, but on the other hand PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T LET IT HAPPEN WITHOUT HER.
This seems like as good a moment as any to relive the magic of their last performance.
