Sleater-Kinney is one of the greatest rock acts that the United States has ever produced. Anyone who thinks otherwise is 1) wrong and 2) someone who didn’t listen to this year’s excellent reunion album, No Cities To Love. So, it’s fitting that when the ladies of S-K felt like getting festive, they’d nod back to another set of titans with The Ramones’ “Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want To Fight Tonight).”
They played the Yuletide punk classic to close out their set in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out the fan-shot video up top.
For more of Sleater-Kinney just absolutely killing it, check out their Bob’s Burgers-assisted video for “A New Wave” then watch them explain the “riot grrrl” movement in an economical 20 seconds.
