Throwing a successful dinner party requires a crowd-pleasing menu, a guest list of personalities that can mesh well for the duration of several courses, attractive presentation, and a cool playlist. If you’ve ever thrown one before, you may have even turned to lifestyle expert/human Pinterest board Martha Stewart for some inspiration. And now the TV host is teaming up with another important cultural icon to host a weekly dinner series: Snoop Dogg, who, frankly, seems like one of the most entertaining party hosts out there.
Thanks to a new unscripted VH1 series that will premiere this fall, “Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party,” we will be able to witness what transpires when these two celebrities team up to host their own dinner parties with other celebrity guests.
VH1 and Logo president Chris McCarthy said in a statement, “We’re thrilled to partner with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, two of pop culture’s biggest icons.” He also reminded us all that, “Good parties are filled with fun, food and unexpected guests. Wait til you see what happens at ‘Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party’; it will be unforgettable.”
The network has promised that each weekly installment will be a “half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.” Well, one thing may be off limits, unless they are baking some treats in Colorado, Washington, Alaska, or Oregon.
