Believe it or not, Snoop Dogg is probably the most storied rap career of all-time with 15 studio albums, four collaborative albums, 17 compilation albums, one EP, 20 mixtapes and a video album all under his belt. If you add The Chronic to his name — and you definitely should — his resume is even stronger and it’s easy to see why his name has become synonymous with the genre for everybody from toddlers to suburban grandmas. In recent times Snoop has become a bit of a multimedia celebrity and all-around mogul, most recently seen inducting his friend Tupac into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and beefing with Donald Trump, but his bread and butter is still spitting raps and he’s back at it for the 15th solo album Neva Left.
Snoop has gradually been releasing singles, and the retro aesthetic of the cover has given fans high expectations for the LP. Snoop collaborates with a wide range of artist on Neva Left including Kaytranada, K-Camp, Nef the Pharaoh along with fellow veterans Redman, Method Man, B-Real, Wiz Khalifa, Devin the Dude, Too Short, Charlie Wilson and the late Teena Marie and more.
