Taylor Swift nearly had a scary moment in concert on Tuesday. While performing a show in Edmonton, Alberta, the singer was nearly grabbed and dragged off stage. In the video above, we see Taylor performing “Bad Blood” when a hand grabs right at her ankle, stopping her dead in her tracks. Despite the potentially dangerous situation, she manages to gain her composure and continue to perform. (Yes, it would have been easy to make a “Shake It Off” joke there, but we’re going to let it slide.)
Still, despite the jokes, this could have been a pretty frightening situation. Luckily, Taylor was okay and managed to continue without really missing a beat. What’s truly surprising is that she didn’t get her strapped-up comrades like Ellie Goulding, Gigi Hadid, Hayley Williams, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, and so on to dispatch of that unwanted attention with extreme prejudice*. Okay, maybe not go that far, but, you know, let that dude know that it wasn’t okay to do that at all. Besides, it’s better that security or someone like that takes him away than the Swifties.
