Pharrell’s “Happy” is ridiculously popular, even more so than the $970 million-grossing hit came from, Despicable Me 2. The chart-topping song (in 23 countries!) was nominated for an Oscar, has been downloaded over three million times, and in the U.K., Pharrell became only the second artist to have three singles sell one million copies in under a year. Another stat that should make Williams (even more) happy: he passes Elvis Presley among male artists with the most weeks at No. 1 in the Hot 100’s 55-year history. Williams has now tallied 23 total weeks among his four No. 1s, passing Presley (22 weeks) and tying 50 Cent and Nelly [ed. note HAHAHA] for 10th place among men with the most frames at the summit.
