Kanye West rubbed plenty of people the wrong way with his Glastonbury claims at being the “greatest living rock star.” We’ve seen Freddie Mercury reacting to his “Bohemian Rhapsody” performance, The Who showing their derision, and we certainly heard the reaction of the crowd. Now, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor has let his thoughts out in this short clip from MC Now, a sort of personal message aimed at West.
It’s a little lame, I’ll admit it. Almost as lame as Kanye having to call himself the greatest living rock star. But it’s fine to get it out, I guess, but should a real rock star even care what someone else says? Shouldn’t he be more worried about melting faces and floating their liver on a sea of booze and/or cranberry juice (depends on age)?
Kanye West probably doesn’t care, especially because he’s probably more worried about his new album leaking out in terrible quality. Also it’s just the latest chapter in the wacky, wild life of Kanye West, the Tracy Jordan of the music world.
