We all have this idea in our head about how we will react to a foul ball sailing toward us at a baseball game. In my mind, it’s a line drive and I snare it with my barehand just as it’s about to crash into the face of Heidi Klum. The crowd cheers as I hold the ball to the sky, only to cheer louder as I give the ball to a nearby child. So impressed, Heidi decides to make out with me for the next three innings.
What happened to this guy in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, however, is way closer to the reality of what I would actually do if confronted with a foul ball.

Jung-ho Kang lofts a foul ball down the right-field line. A man has a reaction that would seem too ridiculous for a Three Stooges short, as he discards what appears to be a full can of beer and proceeds to propel an order of loaded nachos into his own face. This is exactly how I imagine things going if I ever took Heidi Klum to a baseball game on a date.
He handles it like a champ, instantly laughing at himself. When someone tosses him a free shirt, he even mishandles that too.
