The last time SNL did their fake porno sketch, Amy Schumer was playing the naughty teacher and Aidy Bryant played the clueless student who kept busting in and messing up her play time. It was funny, sure, but it lacked that awkward quality you really want from the crashing of the pornography world and the real world.
Enter Adam Driver’s porn doctor sketch, bringing all the awkwardness you could ask for and some poor video quality to boot. Beck Bennett hurt his big thigh during the big game and only Dr. Rock Hard can fix it. The only problem is the return of Bryant’s little girl character from the previous sketch, anxious to get to her appointment.
We then enter this weird world where Dr. Rock Hard is an actual doctor somehow, who still manages to have sex with patients in his office AND can cure any malady that waltzes into his office. Not only that, he’s good with kids. The trouble seems to be that once the sex switch is turned on for these porn actors, it cannot be turned off. The curse of working in porn.
That or it’s just this weird world where pornography is just a way of being and Aidy’s little girl is just clueless. Also Beck Bennett seems really short for a football player.
