After last week’s announcement that Agent Carter has been renewed for a second season, ABC revealed the show will relocate for the new episodes.
According to Entertainment Weekly, SSR Agent Peggy Carter will be moving to Los Angeles to continue fighting the good fight.
Here’s the official description of the new season:
“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic-age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”
Hayley Atwell is the only cast member confirmed to return for the new season so far. This location change may prove to be a catalyst for a huge overhaul in the show’s cast and story. Will they follow Homeland‘s path and include a time jump too?
We’ll have to wait until the midseason return of Marvel’s Agent Carter to find out.
