Netflix just announced — via the first-look teaser above — the premiere date for the upcoming Marvel original series Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter as the titular Jones, as well as Rosario Dawson reprising her Daredevil character Claire Temple, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as Killgrave (The Purple Man), among others. The teaser is set to Of Monsters and Men’s “Thousand Eyes” and sort of encompasses the idea: a super hero trying to live a civilian life as a detective, but the supervillains just keep getting in the way.
The 13, one-hour-long episodes of Jessica Jones will be binge-watch ready on 12:01 a.m. Nov. 20 PST. Man, that’s going to require staying up really late. I wonder what Krysten Ritter would recommend as a pre-game for this?
