Jingle All the Way (Hallmark) — From Daemon’s TV: “A spirited Husky puppy looking for a home at a Christmas tree farm instantly bonds with a young boy visiting with his parents. As the boy rides away, unable to keep him, the pupescapes and embarks on a snowy journey to find his friend again.” You had me at “husky puppy.”
The Walking Dead (AMC, Sunday) — Fall finale. It’s the last new episode until February, so enjoy your zombie ownage while you can.
Boss (Starz, Friday) — On a night when the networks are airing Hollywood blockbusters and everything else is in reruns, Starz is airing a new episode of its struggling drama.
The Simpsons (Fox, Sunday) — John Slattery (Roger Sterling on “Mad Men”) provides lends his voice to an executive who teaches Homer how to be a corporate account suit. I know most die-hard “Simpsons” fans no longer watch it, but the last two seasons have been a bit of a renaissance for the show.
Shark Attack Experiment: LIVE (Nat Geo WILD, Friday) — This may be your first and only chance to watch humans get mauled by sharks on live TV. And while I’m on Team Shark all the way, I’d hate to see the Bikini Shark Bait girls lose one of their lovely legs.
Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse (TBS, Friday) — Series premiere. A fresh and necessary new take on Perry’s film Why Did I get Married? I guess this is what happens when networks don’t make sitcoms about black people.
Kourtney and Kim Take New York (E!, Sunday) — Season premiere. Kim got a ton of bad press for her sham marriage to Kris Humphries, so naturally the purpose of this season will be to paint Humphries as a lousy husband. I’m sure it will be a completely fair and authentic portrayal.
