Ollie, whenever he’s down, tends to find and make the absolute worst possible decision. Which is why he’s going across the ocean to Corto Maltese to rescue his sister from the clutches of her real father. But, of course, it’s not that simple.
First, an overview of what you might have missed last week:
- Laurel, being just the worst, drags her dead sister’s body to Ollie’s hideout rather than, you know, preserve the crime scene.
- Felicity finally realizes that Ollie’s kind of a jerk, and goes to work for… uh, Ray Palmer, the dude who’s stalking her. We love you, Felicity, but your life choices need work.
- In Hong Kong, Ollie discovers his friends are still searching for him and he has to drive them away.
- And Laurel, still being the worst, doesn’t tell her father that his daughter is dead.
So of course Thea’s going to improve the situation. In truth, though, Thea’s worked out as a character in several respects. Once the show realized that we’d like her more when she did things, she actually became interesting. And now, of course, she’s been learning how to beat people with a stick, so she can get out there and really do some damage.
Will it make a difference? We’ll find out tonight at 8pm EST. Join us, won’t you?
