Things You Might Not Know About Bill Murray

With a career spanning four decades, Bill Murray has made quite a name for himself throughout his work in both comedy and drama. From his beginnings on SNL, to his Emmy-winning performance in Olive Kitteridge, Murray has successfully solidified himself — personality and all — as a pop-culture legend.

The actor went down in history as having the most appearances on Letterman and has made a regular habit of crashing birthday parties and weddings. It was more than a decade ago that Murray removed himself from the politics of Hollywood when he decided to drop his agent and acquire his own acting work through a private 1-800 number.

That defining moment has led to a quirky, yet well-rounded career full of interesting turns with too many memorable moments to list here. The above video features some of our favorites. What are yours?
