Just in time for Christmas and New Year’s, Sony has teamed up with the US Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to release a drunk driving PSA starring RoboCop. The cops are stepping up their game. Your move, drunk.
The PSA has some new bits of vaguely-relevant footage cobbled together from RoboCop, including a shot of the ED-209 (Enforcement Droid Series 209) for some reason.
I wonder if the government organizations had to pay anything for this, or if Sony just did it for the cross-marketing synergistic disrupting of the disruptors and whatnot. Anyway, whatever money they did spend on this still wouldn’t be enough to save Detroit.
