New Viral Video For ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’: Did Magneto Assassinate JFK, Or Was He Framed?

Viral marketing site The Bent Bullet has released a video about Magneto being convicted for the assassination of John F. Kennedy. It takes place one year after X-Men: First Class and ten years before X-Men: Days Of Future Past (trailer here).

Obviously, Magneto’s innocent because Watchmen already taught us The Comedian did it. Jokes aside, the viral site reveals that Magneto implicated Mystique at his trial without naming her.

In the section of the website covering his trial, Eric Lensherr is said to have proven the existence of mutant powers for the first time by bending a metal crowbar with his mind, after which he said, “I did not shoot your president. But I know who did, and you will never find her. She has a way of hiding in plain sight.” [Screen Rant]

This wasn’t our first indication X-Men: Days of Future Past would reference the Kennedy assassination. Back in 2011, Matthew Vaughn said, “I thought it would be fun to open with the Kennedy assassination, and we reveal that the magic bullet was controlled by Magneto. That would explain the physics of it, and we see that he’s pissed off because Kennedy took all the credit for saving the world and mutants weren’t even mentioned.”

MAGNETO WAS FRAMED.

Check out the rest over at The Bent Bullet. X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens May 23rd, 2014.
