Russell Westbrook is a leading MVP candidate, and Kevin Durant is the award’s reigning recipient. It’s the tandem’s combined dominance that has made the Oklahoma City Thunder a legitimate championship contender for nearly five seasons running.
But that’s not enough for some people who believe the league’s best pair of teammates are mismatched. Fortunately, neither superstar makes time for such a silly argument – unless it’s to call out a troll propagating it, that is.
After a fan replied to one of Durant’s Instagram posts with the always clever quip “Westbrook is better,” basketball’s best scorer quickly responded in the most accurate and team-first way possible:

Though KD quickly deleted the entire post in question, we still commend him for the initial transparency. Some debates are so stupid that they require the athlete’s take to be quieted, and this one certainly qualifies.
