Andrew Bogut Cuts Down The Lane For Soaring Power Dunk Past Mason Plumlee

It wasn’t long ago that Andrew Bogut was one of the best two-way big men in basketball. But a nasty elbow injury and nagging knee problems have sapped the former number one overall pick of the skill and athleticism that made him such a rare force for the Milwaukee Bucks. Now entrenched as the Golden State Warriors’ defensive anchor, Bogut mostly makes hay on that side of the ball while sprinkling in a dash of playmaking dynamism.

Against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, though, the Aussie is harkening back to his pre-injury days. Just two possessions after this sick slam over Mason Plumlee, Bogut caught a lob from Steph Curry and jammed it home with aplomb. He scored 10 points in the first quarter alone – only the eighth time he’s notched double-digit points all season long.

But Bogut’s effort wil be in vain if the ‘Dubs to pick it up to end their road trip. Golden State trails the Brooklyn Nets 49-43 with several minutes left before halftime.
