Watch Danilo Gallinari Get The Steal And Sink A Half-Court Buzzer-Beater

The Denver Nuggets flirted with their first win since the All-Star break on Sunday against an Anthony Davis-less New Orleans Pelicans team. While it had been reported the Nuggets broke a huddle with a “1-2-3…six weeks” chant in anticipation for the end of the season, the team competed on Sunday, keeping it close for nearly all 48 minutes.

The score was knotted at 65 going into the fourth quarter, thanks to Danilo Gallinari. After he intercepted a Norris Cole pass, Gallo sank a 60-foot prayer with less than a second remaining in the third quarter.

Gallinari’s long-distance bomb made for the loudest moment of the night. The crowd at the Pepsi Center was largely silent as the Nuggets dropped their 10th straight at home to the Pels, 99-92.

With the thin air, the Nuggets normally possess one of the best home-court advantages in the NBA, but after dropping their last ten at the Pepsi Center, they’re only 12-18 at home this season.

Gallinari finished with a team-high 21 points and four rebounds in the losing effort.
