Watch Dwyane Wade Splash A Half-Court Shot In Overtime…That Doesn’t Count

After storming back in the fourth quarter last night to force overtime against the Kings on their home floor, the Heat’s Dwyane Wade hadn’t even gotten started yet. He scored 10 of his game-high 28 points in overtime, and the Heat escaped with a 114-109 win.

The Heat had extended the lead to 108-104 with under a minute to go in the extra session, when Wade was fouled by Ben McLemore in the backcourt. But he put up a shot anyway — the universal move by players everywhere to try and get three shots at the stripe instead of two.

Except, Wade’s shot nearly tore the nylon off when it fell through from beyond mid-court.

Despite the shot not counting, Wade still basked in the glow of the crowd.

LeBron had his four years, but the American Airlines Arena will always be Wade’s house.
