Chris Paul’s Playoff Shoes Are The Latest To Get Torn Apart By The Internet

Folks, it’s barely been a full day since Steph Curry’s newest shoes got ripped into by Twitter and we’ve already got ourselves another shoe roast. Usually we have to wait awhile for the internet to collectively decide a shoe is trash and want to destroy it, but this is a special week and Chris Paul decided to one-up Curry’s “car interior-leather” colored shoes with some monotone dark gray shoes for the playoffs.

These were destined to get roasted the moment they were made. There’s no emblem or logo on the side of the shoe, just a gray mesh upper with a gray midsole and gray sole and gray laces and my goodness, give it some contrast, guys. For those complaining that Twitter only picked on Steph’s shoes because they were Under Armour, fear not, as Chris Paul’s Jordans have found themselves in the crosshairs of the Twitter roasting machine.

If you make a bad shoe, Twitter will make fun of you for it. No one is exempt anymore. This also goes for uniforms or really any other form of apparel. Admittedly, some brands like Jordan are given more of the benefit of the doubt with new designs or certain colors, but we learned on Monday that even they aren’t safe if they come out with something as unappealing as these CP3s.

They look like non-slip work shoes, and, well, I’ll just let Twitter take it from here.
