Isaiah Thomas Told A Washington Heckler ‘I’ll F*ck You Up And You Know That’

The Celtics didn’t have a great road trip to Washington, as the Wizards blasted them in both games in the nation’s capitol. The two losses, both by 19 or more points, left the Celtics frustrated and searching for answers as they head back home to Boston in a series tied 2-2.

The frustration of their poor play led to some interesting soundbites from Isaiah Thomas after Game 4, as he complained that the officiating wasn’t consistent enough in the two games in Washington. Thomas felt there was a discrepancy in how much physicality Wizards were able to get away with on their home floor compared to Boston. The officiating wasn’t the only thing that got under Thomas’ skin, however.

The Wizards fans weren’t too kind to the Celtics star point guard either, and during a timeout in Game 4, he let one of them know exactly what would happen if he wanted to meet Thomas by the bench after the game.

If you look closely you can read Thomas’ lips as he says, “I’ll f*ck you up and you know that” to the heckler by the bench. Don’t let his diminutive size fool you, Thomas is, by all accounts, about that life and this fan most certainly doesn’t want any part of Thomas. Fans love to feel like their heckling or insults are having an affect on a player, which means Thomas’ retort is the desired response, but they would not want it with a professional athlete should they come face-to-face with them.

We’ll have to see if Thomas receives any punishment like his former teammate DeMarcus Cousins got when he fired back at a heckler in Los Angeles.
