Steph Curry Uses Uber To Get Around Just Like The Rest Of Us

Uber has revolutionized the way people get around. Seemingly impossible standards for transportation have been reached by anyone with a smart phone in recent years, as service cars are now a few presses of the button away pretty much wherever you are, or whoever you are.

This includes the world’s greatest basketball players. On the eve of the NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors point guard and reigning unanimous MVP Steph Curry says that — despite unfathomably opulent transportation options available only to millionaires — he has definitely gotten an Uber car before. Maybe he’s saving up for Riley’s college tuition. Or a shuttle back to the extraterrestrial home a shooter as good as him must have come from.

As reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, Curry admitted to using the service during Finals Media Day. “I just kind of laugh and chuckle,” he said of how a driver reacts when he enters their car. “Because they’re surprised I’m getting in there, too.”

LeBron James, Curry’s superstar counterpart in the Finals, has also been in an Uber before, but claims he doesn’t have an account:

Neither star will be able to rely on apps for court mobility in the Finals, however. They’ll have to use their tired human legs.
