Tom Brady orchestrated the largest comeback in Super Bowl history on Sunday night, leading the Patriots back from a 25-point deficit against the Falcons with 31 unanswered points in the second half to win 34-28 in overtime.
LeBron James is a player that knows a thing or two about improbable comebacks for a championship, and James posted a video to Twitter congratulating Brady on the comeback and praising him as “the GOAT.”

Much respect to both the Patriots and the Falcons, but what an unbelievable comeback. A major salute to the GOAT Tom Brady on your fifth championship. I mean, as a kid, man, you dream of moments like that and you definitely did it. Y’all just think about the last two years or last year or last eight months in sports we’ve had. From the Cubs to Clemson to Villanova to the Patriots, wow. It’s been an unbelievable chain of sporting events capped off by the Patriots tonight. Salute to the Pats. Salute.
James, ever the humble one, made sure to leave out his Cavs coming back against the Warriors in listing off the incredible championship game or series performances of the last year, but we all know that’s what his little chuckle was about as he rattled them off.
