Twilight, aka Dawson’s Crypt, the vampire movie/abstinence parable based on the book series written by Mormon housewife Stephanie Meyer, recently graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly. 

With the chick holding the apple and striking a provocative, kabuki-esque pose, and the dude’s belt buckle provocatively… uh… slithering… sideways, there’s some obvious symbolism going on here.  I think the apple is a metaphor for anal or something.

UPDATE: Meanwhile, MTV’s reaction is My first thought is: WOW! “Twilight” made the cover of “Entertainment Weekly”!  How insightful!
