Arrow narrowly averted a riot by not killing Felicity last week, but it was a close one. It seems that she’s going to have trouble walking, but, more importantly trouble coping.
Okay, so Felicity probably is going to walk again, but still, this episode seems to focus on the PTSD that inevitably comes with getting shot at by insane automatic weapon-toting assassins after your boyfriend. And also that comes with finding out you’re surrounded with brilliant engineers who are friends with other brilliant engineers, and nobody can seem to give you robot legs or something. Seriously, Cisco is a train ride away, and giving Felicity a supersuit would be yet another reason he can’t install a security system at STAR Labs.
Beyond that, it appears we’ll be dealing with more of Diggle’s family drama as he brings his drug-dealing and punch-absorbing brother to ARGUS. Hey, remember when this guy had a widow that Diggle kept hitting on in the first season? Has anybody actually told her that he’s alive? That seems like something she should know.
Anyway, it obviously goes a bit wrong and only Felicity can save them, so she’d better get over her horrible life-altering injury and psychological trauma right quick. We’ll find out if she can tonight at 8 p.m. EST on the CW. Join us, won’t you?
