New ‘Ghostbusters’ TV Spots Remind Us Bustin’ Makes One Feel Good

After a much-disliked first trailer, Sony is trying to turn around the quality of ads for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters. The international trailers have been better, and Sony has released featurettes about the main cast and the Ecto-1. The whole cast of new and old Ghostbusters also assembled on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and now Sony has released three new TV spots, with the one above knowing exactly how to get my attention: Letting Kate McKinnon smash things:

Look, I have simple needs, okay? This is relevant to my interests.

One of the other TV spots also shows this version of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, who is a float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade who has become possessed. Hate when that happens.

We also have a new Ghostbusters poster — our favorite part being “nerdy” secretary Chris Hemsworth pretending he has a gun (take that, ghosts!) — and a recent EMPIRE cover reminding us that ‘busting makes ladies feel good, too, you guys. Truly, ‘busting is universal.

These ‘busters will be in theaters on July 15.
