Nas once said that love changes and best friends become strangers. Future and Rocko probably won’t be exchanging holiday cards this year after the Rocko filed a lawsuit against his old friend, according to a report by TMZ.

The situation apparently dates back to a 2011 contract between the two rappers in which Rocko says the Honest rapper agreed to release his first six albums through A1 Recordings, a label owned by Rocko. Another deal was signed with Epic to distribute the records, but, things supposedly went wrong when Future signed “a side deal” with Epic that earned him “huge multi-million dollar advances” yet left Rocko in the cold. Per TMZ, he’s suing for $10 million for what he claims he’s owed.

Future must have finally gotten wind of it because he sent out a string of tweets on Wednesday that appear to be in response to the lawsuit. “Nigga lookin like dame out there,” he wrote. “Real street nigga went to the court house, how did it feel when u signed the papers???? [sic]”

Future Rocko Tweets

One of the strippers they both know from Magic City must have shot Rocko a text to tell him Fewtch was tweeting about him. The Atlanta rapper acknowledged Future’s slights with tweets of his own, indicating he’s fine with going the legal route.
