If it feels like Eminem’s been discussing his next album, his eighth, for about 17 years, you’re not completely wrong — it’s only been 15 years. But the point remains, it’s been a huge year for hip-hop, with new releases from Kanye West and J. Cole already out and Jay-Z and Drake coming soon, and it’s only right that Eminem joins the fun.
Until the day we hear the followup to Recovery, though, we’ll have to settle for whatever we can get, like “Symphony for H,” a 90-second blast from Tony Touch’s forthcoming mixtape, Piecemaker 3: The Return Of The 50 MCs.
