Check Out How Daft Punk Will Pay Tribute To ‘Star Wars’ During Their Performance At The 2014 Grammys

Daft Punk will be winning a lot of hearts at tomorrow’s Grammy Awards with their teased Star Wars tribute. The duo will don Stormtrooper helmets during their performance alongside Stevie Wonder at the 2014 Grammys. More than enough reason to tune in or at least join us for our live blog tomorrow night.

The official Star Wars twitter account confirmed the news alongside The Hollywood Reporter last night:

This isn’t the first time Daft Punk has had a connection to Star Wars, having appeared in an Adidas commercial set in a galaxy far, far away alongside Snoop Dogg. It’s the perfect time to start getting excited.

The performance will be their first on the Grammy’s in six years and The Hollywood Reporter already has the set list:

The disco collective will run through a medley of songs that include snippets of Wonder’s “I Wish,” Chic’s “Le Freak” and, of course, the megahit “Get Lucky.” Also planned is a segue to Daft Punk’s “Lose Yourself to Dance.”

Be sure to check back in all weekend for all Grammy coverage. Check out the nominees and be sure to join us for our live blog. Even if you’re not a fan, you can come make fun of how awful this sh*t can be!
