Lolo Jones Tweeted Her Thirst For Drake After Serena Williams' Loss

Olympic hurdler and bobsledder Lolo Jones is nursing quite the crush on Drake, who is catching hell for possibly causing Serena Williams’ catastrophic loss at the U.S. Open. Miss Jones has made no secret of her crush, which just happens to run directly against her very public stance of keeping her virginity intact until marriage.

The 33-year-old athlete previously talked about her virginity with Today: “I’ve been tempted. I’ve had guys tell me, they’re like, ‘Hey, you know if you have sex it will help you run faster.’ If you marry me, then yeah.” She explained, “It’s just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband. But please understand this journey has been hard.” Jones told the show how maintaining virginity is “harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college.”

Fast forward to late August when Jones tweeted her sadness at photos of Drake making out with Williams at a restaurant.

In the aftermath, Jones seemed alright. She tweeted about how she can’t stay friends with a guy after breaking up. She’d rather use that energy to pray for a husband. Makes sense.

Then came Williams’ Friday loss at the U.S. Open. Jones was quick to claim she’d willingly lose her own track matches for a shot with Drake.

Well when Serena breaks it off with Drake I'm here for you boo. My season is already in the crapper so no one will blame you.

Jones assured her followers that she remains a fan of Williams despite wanting her man.

When Jones’ followers reminded her that she and Drake would be, uh, incompatible, Jones had a few rebuttals for that too.

She’s having fun with this crush, and it remains perfectly normal (and some would say healthy) to have a fantasy celebrity on the ready. However, it’d be even harder for Jones to refrain from “activity” by dating Drake, who has a fondness for making it rain at stripper joints. Jones may be a virgin, but she clearly knows how to party.
