Adele Was Stunned By A Fan’s Amazing Voice

Adele likes to occasionally, or even frequently, bring fans onstage during her shows. On Tuesday, she did that again, but this time the result was unexpected. It’s not every night Adele brings a fan onstage and it happens to be a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter.

Now, Adele can be forgiven for not recognizing her fellow Grammy nominee. Jamie Grace is a 24-year-old singer who was nominated for a Best Contemporary Christian Music Song in 2012 for her song “Hold Me” featuring tobyMac. She also won a Dove Award, the gospel music equivalent of a Grammy, that year for New Artist of the Year. So she has singing bona fides. However, on Tuesday she was just a fan happy to be onstage…then she blew everybody away.

That includes Adele, who responding to hearing Grace’s voice with, “Sing some more. Sing anything you want.” Grace went on to sing two covers, one of Adele’s own “Remedy,” and one of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.”

As taken as Adele was with Grace, it was an amazing evening for Grace as well. “I don’t even have the words to say! but thank you #Adele. what a spiffy lil evenin:)” she wrote on Instagram. Despite her Grammy nomination, this may honestly be the biggest moment of Grace’s singing career. It was certainly her biggest moment as an Adele fan.
