What’s on Tonight: Women of SNL

By / 11.01.10

Saturday Night Live (NBC) –A tribute to the female cast members of the last 35 years, although apparently Gilda Radner didn’t make the cut for tonight’s show. Because she’s dead. Bummer about that.

Top Gear (BBC America) — Season finale. Jeff Goldblum is the guest driver. Yes, British people, we’re aware that this already aired on the BBC with all of the anti-American jokes intact; you don’t need to remind us.

Wreck Chasers (Discovery) — Series premiere. Tow truck drivers race to get to crashes. Sounds fascinating.

Mario Lopez: Saved by the Baby (VH1) — Series premiere. “As riveting as watching your refrigerator make ice cubes.” –New York Daily News. Also premiering tonight on VH1: “My Big Friggin’ Wedding,” which has something to do with New Jersey. I can’t say I’m really curious to know more.

Two and a Half Men (CBS) — Josef Fritzl, the Austrian monster who kept his daughter in a dungeon and raped her repeatedly over 24 years (producing 7 children), says that “Two and a Half Men” is his favorite show. He added that he liked the show even though Charlie Sheen is “totally despicable.”
