TV industry people are buzzing this afternoon about a hot drama spec that has Halle Berry attached to star. Word is the spec, titled Higher Learning, was sent out today to pay cable networks, with HBO and Showtime among those targeted… The script, which I hear would have the Oscar winner starring as a college professor, was written by 30-year industry veteran Lee Rose. I honestly have no idea why I copy/pasted that blockquote, because I yelled “SOLD!” as soon as I heard “Halle Berry on TV.” I can only assume “Higher Learning” is about a college professor whose students are constantly masturbating in class. Hell, the the show could be a documentary about Halle Berry drowning golden retriever puppies and I’d still watch it. I bet I could even masturbate to it.
