Sawyer From ‘Lost’ Made An Adorable Damn Fool Of Himself On ‘Yo Gabba Gabba’

If you have young children, maybe you’ve seen Yo Gabba Gabba, the bizarre half-hour LSD flashback that plays on Nick, Jr. Honestly, if you gotta watch a little kid’s show, you can do A LOT worse than Yo Gabba Gabba (for instance, Caillou, a cartoon written, illustrated, and performed from the confines of Satan’s butthole). It has a certain hipster coolness. In fact, it comes from Christian Jacobs (the lead singer of The Aquabats) and features regular segments from Mark Mothersbaugh, the Devo co-founder who has scored most of Wes Anderson’s best work. For weirder reasons, Biz Markie also has a regular segment on the show, as do Jack McBrayer and Paul Scheer (who exchange knock-knock jokes). It also tends to attract a more eclectic set of guest stars, people willing to make an ass of themselves for the kids, best illustrated a couple of years ago by Elijah Wood’s “Dancey Dance.” The Roots have also been on, which is pretty much all the validation you need to show it to your kids. It’s goofy fun. Also, really weird.

Anyway, the latest actor to do the show is Josh Holloway (Sawyer from Lost), who doesn’t hold back, playing it up huge for the kids at home, including his own four-year-old daughter. He plays a farmer, who sings. I’m pretty sure it’s his real voice, too, because he’s displayed an outstanding singing voice in the past.
