Comedy Central Has Announced Its First Live Stand Up Special Starring Brian Regan

During his final appearance on The Late Show this past Friday, Brian Regan took the time to announce that he would be the star of Comedy Central’s first live comedy special. It seems a little odd that a channel that is known for comedy and once filled its schedule with stand up has never attempted a live broadcast, but it’s the truth.

Obviously Regan and other comedians would have no issue doing a live set and many have taken part in the Live At Gotham series which currently airs on AXS television. But having a live special air on Comedy Central is a great honor and something that’s sure to have a lot of spectacle attached to it. The fact that it’s happening at Radio City Music Hall indicates that.
