Season one of Agent Carter proved to be a delightful slow burn anchored by a great performance from Hayley Atwell, and fans have been anxiously awaiting any and all information about the upcoming season. The first preview for the Peggy and crew’s transition to LA is finally here, and while the voiceover grates, it looks like Agent Carter will handle the location change with aplomb. Peggy is still punching dudes in the face and hanging out with Jarvis, so the best pieces of the show are still in place.
With a new villain and potentially a new romantic interest (no love for Enver Gjokaj?), there is plenty for fans to be excited about. Most of the previous season’s cast is set to return, but still no word yet on whether or not Lyndsy Fonseca’s Angie Martinelli will make the jump to the West Coast. While it would probably be a stretch for her to relocate, it would be a shame for such a great depiction of female friendship to be left in the dust. Either way, this season is sure to add a touch of glamour to the spy proceedings, because nothing says glitz like old school Hollywood. As long as Agent Carter remains smart and compelling, the location is really just icing on the cake.
