Let’s Talk This Week’s Geeky TV: ‘The Flash’ Gets New Rogues, ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Goes In Lockup

Last week on The Flash, everyone was still acting weird, especially Wells, who decided the way to teach his daughter she shouldn’t use her awesome speed powers was to bring her back to a parallel universe to the one guy who also has awesome speed powers. The plan, fortunately, backfired, giving The Flash some cheering up.

This episode sees the arrival of classic Flash villain the Mirror Master and also the return of the once-again villainous Captain Cold, newly revived thanks to Wentworth Miller’s agent and last seen on Legends of Tomorrow. He’ll be back on Legends soon, joining the supervillain club in that show, but until then we’ll enjoy the fireworks. That’s at 8pm EST on the CW.

Meanwhile, over on Marvel Team-Up, er, Agents of SHIELD:

The search for a book has never been so compelling as Coulson, Quake, and Ghost Rider try to fight ghosts while stealing the Necronomicon. OK, they call it the Book Of Bleak Thoughts or some nonsense, but come on. It’s the Necronomicon. Also last episode John Hannah’s robot was outed to Simmons, who amazingly did not dump Fitz for lying to her about running off to his buddy’s house to play Weird Science. This episode they take Ghost Rider to a prison, which surely won’t end poorly. We’ll find out tonight at 10pm EST on ABC. Join us, won’t you?
