The third season of Rick And Morty can’t come soon enough. Unfortunately for us, we still don’t even know exactly when it will return — the best we’ve heard from co-creator and producer, Dan Harmon, is it’ll be some time around the end of 2016. That’s a long time for fans to wait, but on the plus side it sounds like Harmon is using the time between seasons to set up some interesting new television.

According to Deadline, FX and Harmon have just put a new show into development called Happy City that is being described as “Thomas the Tank Engine for adults.” The show will use models in that familiar Thomas style to tell the story of Tyler the Taxi and his group of vehicular friends as they live their lives in the big city.

FX has been on a good streak of producing quality television, to the point where even the original programming on sister-channel FXX is better than a lot of what you’ll see on other networks. And in addition to Harmon, Happy City has comedy group Extremely Decent behind it as well. They’ve been putting pretty funny videos up on YouTube for the past three years — you’ve probably already seen a few of them and didn’t even notice.

There’s no date when we might get our first look at Happy City, but for now here’s Extremely Decent‘s most famous video: The First Honest Cable Company.
