Stephen Colbert Is Furious That A Russian Firm Is Acquiring American Institution Pabst Brewing Company

Stephen Colbert just found out that a Russian firm is acquiring “All-American” Pabst Brewing Company. The Russians controlling PBR, Colt 45, Schlitz, and Old Milwaukee is a devastating blow to grandpas and hipsters (and, let’s face it: American exceptionalism).

As you might imagine, Colbert is not taking the news well. Last night he took aim at everyone involved in the transaction. Come for the accurate burns about the way PBR tastes, stay for the even-more-accurate burns about the hipsters who drink it.

In an attempt to drive home his point, Colbert took two valiant swigs of PBR. Once to close the segment above, and another at the end last night’s broadcast (below). Neither attempt went very well.
